Best Home Gardens grew from years of hands-on gardening and a desire to help others grow more of their own food.
Our founder, Christy Darlington, began working with greenhouses in 2008 and has spent more than a decade growing vegetables and experimenting with greenhouse growing, hydroponics, aquaponics, and organic gardening.
That experience led to GreenLivingOffGrid.com, where Christy shares real videos, growing projects, and educational resources to help others learn practical ways to grow food at home.
From Learning to Finding the Right Products
As Green Living Off Grid grew, we realized that learning how to grow was only part of the challenge. Gardeners also needed help sorting through the many greenhouses, hydroponic systems, plant protection products, and garden accessories available online.
That’s why Best Home Gardens has evolved into a garden product discovery and comparison site. We use our real-world growing experience to provide additional insights and help you understand the features worth considering when comparing your options.
